Hi, I’m Tara.
I write, mostly about food, and I cook.
My book, Seven Spoons, was published in 2015, ten years after I started a blog of the same name. (Much of the content of which resides in the Notes section here).
I’m a contributor to The Globe and Mail, as well as Culinary Host for the newspaper’s cruise program. I've written for Epicurious, Saveur, Kinfolk magazine, Jamie Oliver, and Parenting.com, among others.
Previously a core columnist to UPPERCASE magazine, my work has also appeared in The Guardian, on Bon Appétit, Oprah.com, The Splendid Table, Canadian House and Home, Chatelaine, and Design*Sponge.
I was also a guest judge on Iron Chef Canada, and host of a digital baking series with CBC.
